I was laid off by my employer( Big staffing company) and i am in the 2 weeks notice period . I am looking for any company( desi one - reasonable) who can sponsor my H1B and also start the GC process immediately .They should be able to work with most of the vendor ( corp-corp)
I am in my end of 6 th year and my employer is willing to give the approved 1 140 ( Eb2- Feb 2006 PD ) .
what are my best options right now .I am looking for some advise about good company with decent track record ?
I had pretty bad experience earlier with a chicago based desi company and then moved this big staffing firm . I am not looking for great marketing as i can manage myself.

Approved Asylum in 06. Applied for GC in 07, still pending and received this letter a few days back.
Your case is on hold because you appear to be inadmissible under ?212(a)(3)(B) of the INA, and USCIS currently has no authority not to apply the inadmissibility ground(s) to which you appear to be subject. Rather than denying your application based on inadmissibility, we are holding adjudication in abeyance while the Department of Homeland Security considers additional exercises of the Secretary of Homeland Security?s discretionary exemption authority. Such an exercise of the exemption authority might allow us to approve your case."
My question is - I am married to a US Citizen, and have a child(yes I know I should have applied thru her- but did'nt) Can I apply for another GC thru wife.
Will my Work permit be renewed once it expires.

I did same 4 years ago. You can travel while your H1B transfer is pending.

I got a new stamping before i came back to US. But while my application was pending, i called US Consulate in India they said you don't need one as long as current stamping on passport is valid. They said you just need to show new company's appointment/employment letter at immigration if questioned. But better to check with attorney, my attorney asked me to get stamped and come back
3. For me to travel back with company A visa , do I need to make sure company A has not informed USCICS to cancel H1b visa.

I think doing a business on H1B is legal , But you are not supposed to work for the company.

Given the situation for 485 denial. AFAIK, You have an option of filing for H1B (not counted against quota) based on your B's labor approval and pending 140. Once you use the EAD, technically you don't have the H1B status to transfer or extend. Hence, it will require you to go to consulate (b/c approval will come without I94) to stamp, and start working for Company B after you return.

Very shallow DOF is a factor of Macro photography. Use the smallest f-stop you can and focus on the nearest plane. Experimentation is pretty much a necessity with Macro work.

What if there is a gap of employment between leaving the previous employer who made the initial green card application under EB3 and joining the new employer who is willing to make a new application under EB2.
I-140 is approved, I-485 was pending for more than six months when the employee left the first company and has had a gap in employment for a few months. The employee has joined the new company using EAD. I-140 has not been revoked.
Would applying for the green card under EB-2 and trying to port the EB-3 priority date cause any complications given the gap in employment. The new job satisfies the same or similar job requirement with a 50% bump in salary and meets the EB-2 requirements. Would really appreciate your insight on the risks to be aware of if any due to the gap in employment. Thanks!
